MISSION STATEMENT:
Little Flower Learning Center strives to provide a safe, creative learning environment that fosters each child’s cognitive, physical, social and emotional growth with an emphasis on meeting the needs of a predominately bilingual community.

Our staff of caring professionals are committed to meeting each child’s individual needs by providing positive guidance, love and nurturing support throughout the day.

“LFLC’s mission is to provide a quality family-oriented early childhood program where teachers encourage children’s learning with an emphasis on problem-solving, communication, social and coping skills by providing developmentally appropriate learning environments for children.”

PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT:
Little Flower Learning Center believes that all children have the right to learn in an environment that is non-restrictive, stress free environment, which places a daily emphasis on meeting their needs and understanding where each child is developmentally.

Little Flower recognizes that all children develop at different rates and that each child has his or her own unique, individual needs and cultural backgrounds. We welcome and embrace these qualities and model a respect for all.

Children learn through play and everyday life experiences; therefore it is important to have classrooms that foster learning through hands on developmentally appropriate activities. We believe that parents are a child’s first and primary teacher and that early childhood educators
are the extension of that process. It is our responsibility to support and empower parents to make that lasting difference in their child’s life.

CURRICULUM STATEMENT:

Little Flower believes that children learn through play with a balance of adult guided and child guided activities. By providing activities and experiences that promote and enhance children’s social, emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual development, children can feel comfortable in their surroundings, build positive self-esteem, become confident explorers and learners and develop skills and abilities as they grow into responsible individuals.
